Miss Knit Nat: August 2013
http://missknitnat.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 23 August 2013. What should have been on my knitting needles. At the start of the summer I made a resolution to get cracking with some of my personal knitting projects (Purl Alpaca cardigan, Millamia fair isle cushion and Toft amigurumi x2) and really bust that stash. How much have I achieved? If you're a knitter you'll know the answer is none - but instead I made the fab Robbo Robot from the book Amigurumi. For a friend's birthday (which she loved - look how cute he is! All of the above plus a n...

Monday, 25 March 2013. I'm really pleased I managed to catch the Campaign for Wool Wool House. Exhibition at Somerset House on the last day, it was brilliant! The exhibition itself was divided into two sections, one half was set up as a 'house' with individual rooms created with huge amounts of fantastic wool and knitted items! I spotted a table in one of the rooms which had balls of yarn stored in the middle of the table, think something like this would be perfect for my coffee table! Im taking part in ...

This Blog was created to share My knitting and camping adventures with far away friends and family. Saturday, January 19, 2008. I finished my first sock! It was made using the "Winter Sock" pattern in the Magic Loop book. The yarn is LB Wool-Ease on size 5 needles. It will just be a housesock or if I ever needed a boot sock it would work for that too. However, not being wool chances are if I was going to need a pair of boots I'd need the warmth of wool to go with them, lol. Monday, January 07, 2008.

Miss knitsalot's Blog. February 11, 2010 · 12:32 pm. Apparently hats are my specialty this winter. But this is the first one I’ve successfully made for myself. It’s funny how that works. I knit a bunch of gifts for Christmas and various birthdays this past year. And yet, the things I’ve attempted to make myself have not worked out exactly perfect. I love the color and the style, but it does not fit quite right. I have worn this a lot, but it’s a bit shorter than I wanted. February 5, 2010 · 3:14 am.
