April 22, 2014. Today was a driving day. Hopefully we can stop by Graceland in the morning on the way out of town. Tomorrow we drove 606 miles to my mother’s hometown, Wichita Falls, Texas to stay another night with my cousin Krystal, Aunt Martha and Uncle Bill. April 28, 2014. Last day on the road! It’s very cold this morning in Twin Falls, Idaho. So cold we still had plenty if ice for the day in our coolers. We hit Starbucks and were on the road by 6:30 am. We made it home by 4:30 pm 11 hours on the road and we gained an hour too. We relaxed all weekend. We picked up our dogs Saturday morning and boy were they excited to see us! A very long journey, but I loved every minute of it. One thought on “04-25-2014”. April 28, 2014 at 3:51 pm. Monthly Archives: March 2014. 10 Days and counting…. March 26, 2014. The to do list is growing smaller as items are checked off. Packing has been started, cars are being readied, supplies are slowly being purchased. Creating the “Travel Bible” is underway. Tires should be in today or tomorrow, then they can be installed, oil changed, and overal checked for the road trip. The pups have all their food treats and new toys are being purchased today. Still need to wash and choose their bedding. March 21, 2014.
