Groton Technology Teacher Leaders: January 2009
http://grotonttl.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Groton Technology Teacher Leaders. Friday, January 23, 2009. Posted by Andy Yale on his Del.ic.ious. Someone in a community I belong to recently said, "Why should teachers change? We are asking them to work harder, do things in a new way, unlearn the old ways of doing things, and when they do all that we have asked we do what? I know we don't give them more money. Maybe if they are really lucky we ask them to help the others who just don't seem to get it. What a reward! Friday, January 16, 2009. So in so...

Groton Technology Teacher Leaders: Two (crazy) Ideas?
http://grotonttl.blogspot.com/2009/01/two-crazy-ideas.html
Groton Technology Teacher Leaders. Friday, January 16, 2009. So in some of my conversations with fellow teachers, two things have come up:. 1 Some teachers, through no fault of their own, simply don't have the basic computer skills necessary to go on to higher-level things like geotagging, blogging, wiki-ing, etc. Perhaps we need to offer some sort of "basic" seminar on our March conference day? C'monyou know you have a cheap shot or three for me. January 20, 2009 at 6:20 AM. January 23, 2009 at 9:11 AM.

Its 9/09 and Im just commenting. But, you are so right. I love all this stuff, like today Paul directed me to his tutorial on how to sign up to do a course. Great. People will only do and learn as they can assimilate it into the classroom. Call if you want more.

Groton Technology Teacher Leaders: Firefox
http://grotonttl.blogspot.com/2008/11/firefox.html
Groton Technology Teacher Leaders. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Hopefully everyone has realized that Internet Explorer is pretty much defunct. Here is a cool trick I learned at a NYSCATE session: Firefox has a wide variety of cool add-ons. Allows you to highlight text within a webpage and send it to a little side bar in a word processor format. Along with the highlighter. Add-on, students can sort through text online and save relevant text for constructed-response tasks. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Groton Technology Teacher Leaders: How to Propose a Teacher Center Course
http://grotonttl.blogspot.com/2009/09/how-to-propose-teacher-center-course.html
Groton Technology Teacher Leaders. Thursday, September 17, 2009. How to Propose a Teacher Center Course. I think I could actually do this without anyone standing next to me. Wow, amazing, incredible. Do you use this in your classroom? Maybe in my next lifetime as a teacher I could do the same. Really, its amazing to see every step at my pace, right? I could hit pause and go do it and come back, right? September 17, 2009 at 12:17 PM. I do not know if there are geo-images. Best to you! Tools To Check Out!
