Thursday, February 14, 2008. February 4, Mapusa, Ocean, puppy, Goan court, ATM. We went to visit a Roman Catholic church which was quite elaborate inside. I felt like there was something missing on the outside though based on all the temples we’ve been visiting for the last 3 weeks. The design seemed too simple. Up until now, nothing has been simple. I can’t believe we’ve been here 3 weeks already! Time really is flying. 8221; The court apparently follows the Portuguese rules yet. Link to Jennifers blog.

Thursday, February 14, 2008. February 5 Mapusa, admitted to hospital. Had some intestinal trouble last night and a fever and was miserable when my host’s wife woke me up this morning. She took me to a hospital right down the road that is owned by a Rotarian and they did a chest x-ray, blood work, stool and urine samples and diagnosed me with an intestinal bacterial infection and severe dehydration. Friday, February 15, 2008. February 15 Jet lag, getting back on schedule. Well, I went to bed at about 7pm last night and made myself get up at 0800 this morning in an effort to get my body and brain back on American time. This is tougher than I thought it would be! It's only 5:30 pm and I've been ready to go to bed for several hours now. I plan to be in bed by 10 or 11 tonight because I have to get up by 0630 to go to work in the morning. I still feel like I am 10 1/2 hours off. Link to Jennifers blog.

Especially for the fact just months ago I could wear pants 3 sizes I swear smaller then what I can wear now! I am at loss. When uni started I got so overwhelmed with it, couldn't find a decent spot to take pictures in in my small dorm room. And the list of excuses goes on and on. BUT.
