An old man is talking to Rosse about the king’s death and the unnaturalness of the world now that he is dead. Then Macduff appears and talks to Rosse about his suspicions of Macbeth and that he is leaving and not going to meet Macbeth or see him crowned, Rosse, however, is going to see Macbeth get crowned. Rosse then says goodbye to the old man and leaves.
