Kari and Aaron: September 2008
http://kariandaaron.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2008. For those of you who know my dear friend Sarah, I wanted to update you on her condition. Quick recap: Sarah was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer about 2 months ago. She has been receiving chemotherapy as part of her treatment plan. She also was participating in a couple of clinical trials since pancreatic cancer is so difficult to treat. One of the clinical trials was really bad and tore her stomach lining. So she's not doing that one anymore! Blessings to you all-.

Kari and Aaron: February 2008
http://kariandaaron.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 14, 2008. Two Prayers in my heart. There have been a couple of very serious issues that have come up lately that need some prayer. We are certainly never short on those. Pray that God will heal Amy's blood and rid her of the infection. Amy is only 29 and has a 10 year old daughter. She has suffered so much already. Thanks for your continued support. Aaron and I are doing well. I will write a more personal update soon! In the meantime, be praying for Stan and Amy. July 16, 2009.

Kari and Aaron: April 2008
http://kariandaaron.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 27, 2008. I have just felt like writing lately. I've felt compelled to write about some of the more intimate things of my daily life. And again, I don't write these b/c I'm looking for pity or sympathy. I just write b/c this is my blog and I can do whatever I want. :) And b/c it's healing for me to do so. So I am thinking about the things I miss:. Sleeping on my stomach. Feeling comfortable socks on my feet. A cup of warm coffee in my hands. Drinking without a straw. Curling up into a ball.

Kari and Aaron: March 2008
http://kariandaaron.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 03, 2008. February Showers bring March Flowers. But they always do. There's an obvious metaphor in the transition. From winter to spring. We all have situations in our lives that reflect the winter. The cold, wet, gray weather gives such a sense of bleakness. And sometimes that bleakness seems endless. Jesus, lover of my soul. Jesus, I will never let you go. You've taken me from the miry clay. You've set my feet upon the rock. And now I know. I love you I need you. Though my world may fall.
