An Artist's Garden: Did Someone Say Georgia O’Keeffe?
http://anartistsgarden.blogspot.com/2009/06/did-someone-say-georgia-okeeffe.html
Gardening from the perspective of an artist. Including all mistakes that I've made so you don't have to make the same ones. Did Someone Say Georgia O’Keeffe? After the first year of pretty good tulip and lily blooms, in spite of rodents, cold temperatures, and zone illiteracy taking some bulbs, I knew I’d have to reach beyond lilies and tulips. I discovered the world of iris. Incredible beauty to behold and if you look closely you can. See a Georgia O'Keeffe. Painting in every flower. I poured over in.

Gardening from the perspective of an artist. Including all mistakes that I've made so you don't have to make the same ones. Deerly Departed.Top 10 Deer repellents that don't work and a couple that do. Oh how I wish the deer would go party elsewhere and leave my garden alone. Living in a forested area we see a lot of wildlife. A lot. My garden is a buffet for deer and rabbits, while turkeys and grouse displace my evenly placed bark (not to mention plants! Creatures back then and even tried enticing. The d...

http://anartistsgarden.blogspot.com/2009/07/have-i-mentioned-rocks-digging-them-my.html
Gardening from the perspective of an artist. Including all mistakes that I've made so you don't have to make the same ones. Have I mentioned rocks? All those rocks came out of the 2 holes I dug for these (count ‘em) 2 new plants. Notice the rock wall with a built in lily bed behind the new plants? All those rocks were also removed from my soil. By me. One at a time. Over a seriously long time! A well respected and award winning garden designer, Marion McNew of. Thanks for stopping by! Omigosh, that area ...

An Artist's Garden: A Bed for my Bulbs
http://anartistsgarden.blogspot.com/2009/06/my-garden-really-started-after-going-to.html
Gardening from the perspective of an artist. Including all mistakes that I've made so you don't have to make the same ones. A Bed for my Bulbs. My garden really started after going to. In Victoria BC. I was so inspired! I came home and dug in. Literally. My soil is hard clay and rock. Horrible stuff to dig through, but with a pick ax and sheer force of will, I dug through it, pulled out all the rocks, dug some more and pulled out more rocks. I must live in the center of the rock universe! June 21, 2009 a...

An Artist's Garden: In the Beginning...
http://anartistsgarden.blogspot.com/2009/06/in-beginning.html
Gardening from the perspective of an artist. Including all mistakes that I've made so you don't have to make the same ones. So we didn't, other than trips of necessity, like going to our jobs! Six years later I finally got my husband to take a vacation. We went to. Back home, I planned out where each packet of seeds would be planted and set about planting. I didn't comprehend these were. I gave up on seeds and moved to starts. Maybe if the plant had already begun I'd have better luck! Cabin in the woods.
