http://homoerraticradioshow.blogspot.com/2015/08/jon-thomas.html
Saturday, August 1, 2015. LP: Big Beat On the Organ. Lately I've been trying to reorganize stuff in my apartment, and I thought it would be good if I bought some reorganizing music to help me get with it. Golden Oldies. Came through in spades, as usual, and I found way more there than I'd bargained—or budgeted—for. There's not a set of complete biographical information about jazz organist Jon Thomas that I could find on the web, but according to AllMusic. He was born in 1918 and someone on e-bay.

The Homoerratic Radio Show: Hibari Misora
http://homoerraticradioshow.blogspot.com/2015/07/hibari-misora.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Song: "The Soba Song". This 1954 various-artists 7" EP containing Japanese hits of the time is another one of the things I found. At the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Bremerton a few weeks ago. "The Soba Song" by Hibari Misora provides a glimpse into what American country music might have sounded like in the 1950s if the Mayflower. Had been filled with Japanese pilgrims instead of British ones. (Anyone know how to say "Manifest Destiny" in Japanese? Born in Yokohama, Japan.

Sunday, July 26, 2015. Artist: Bae Ho (. LP: Ten Hit Songs (. Song: "Who's Crying (. It took some crafty online sleuthing to figure out who this handsome Korean singer is, and what his album and songs are called. The Homoerratic Radio Show: Karen Young
http://homoerraticradioshow.blogspot.com/2015/07/karen-young.html
Friday, July 24, 2015. Song: "Bring On the Boys". I was initially drawn to this 1978 Karen Young record by the fact that she looks a little long in the tooth to be performing disco. (She brought to mind Disco Sally from Studio 54. Based on the cover, I guessed Karen was somewhere around 50 when this LP was released, and that she had probably also been a guest star on " The Love Boat. At least twice (her frumpy '70s hair/dress combo practically screams Captain Stubing love interest. Karen Young on YouTube:.
