I have to admit, I was sorry to hear that this was a cliche'. I think this stage of survivor's recovery, or this particular challenge for a couple, can be a worthy topic if it's done right. There were aliens and gods and a guy in a suit and a big green rage monster and the ass-kickingest woman ever and Sam Jackson with an eyepatch. Everything except a harpy.
