Knowing what to expect and having some tips can really help for a smooth transition. Newborns are nocturnal which means you’ll probably become nocturnal. At least until they make the transition. Keep the house bright and lit and (a little) noisy during the day and dark with soft white noise at night to help them make the switch. Dirty or wet diaper? Too cold or hot?
