Sunday, July 12, 2015. The Eve of my 11th Year. But on this- the eve of my "first day" of school, there's a few things I wish I could have told myself 11 years ago as a brand new teacher. 1 The first day of school will always have that excitement. I love this about my job! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Own only what you can carry with you; know language, know countries, know people. Let your memory be your travel bag. View my complete profile. I amazingly ranked up to Distributor 4 Star this week and I know I didn't do it on my own- there were so many people helping me get there- from an amazing up-line guiding me and to some pretty amazing customers who have continued to buy product and developed a love for it too! Let's look at that girl for just a minute. Am I done growing? It is on...

Amy's Unexpected Undertakings: October 2014
http://jeantana.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. October 27, 2014. I know- another post in a matter of days. Can that really be? And it isn't even on anything that is unexpectedly undertaking. And why do we make these decisions? They are based on our priorities in life. A lot of times, I find we are willing to sacrifice big things that are important to taking care of ourselves to fulfill a moment of something we think we need right now. Friday, October 24, 2014. Amy's Unexpected Undertakings: September 2013

Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Another Once In A Life Time (or so they say.). Okso when I was a little girl- I had this ridiculous idea that it would be so much fun to sing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir- or even play the organ for it. Well.I didn't ever develop my talent out enough to do this.but last Sunday, I had the opportunity to sing for regional conference for my area and we had the chance to sit in the choir seats at the Conference Center. It was though a great opportunity to sit in those chairs an...

Everyday Happenings from the Clark Family. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Why Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Just Might Be the End of Me. I love Harry Potter and always have. I'm not a crazed fan- just a little geeky maybe. I've read the books only about a quarter as many times as my kids have, but I've loved them, too. The movies have had their highs and lows, but they all reference back to the books for me. Neville finally gets to channel his inner Gryffindor! But, I can live with all those things, jo...

Thursday, December 5, 2013. The Spirit of the Season. December 4, 2013. Someday, I hope to understand that love that we have from the Savior even more. I know that we are here to learn it- it is the first and greatest commandment: To love God and then others. As this holiday season continues- I hope we can keep that love in our hearts and reach out to those in need. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. This is Why I Teach. April 15, 2015. I just have a thought going through my head tonight that I have to get out of me. I have had a few young new teachers ask me how I got to where I am because they don't want to "teach" forever and want to go places. I'm realizing I look younger to them than I really am. By learning and doing. I studied what I taught and worked on understanding it as much as I could so my students could reach their full potential. My passion for educat...Own o...

Everyday Happenings from the Clark Family. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Why our House is So Very Dusty. Back in March, we began a series of home improvement projects that have taken up a lot of our time. Though we've only completed a couple of things we've got planned, they have already made a major impact in our house. Probably the biggest change was remodeling our stairs. This was a BIG project for us because we didn't have any experience with stairs and had to figure everything out from scratch. I don't t...

Hullabaloo House: December 2010

Everyday Happenings from the Clark Family. Friday, December 24, 2010. I'm woefully behind on posting the last few months, but I thought I'd throw up these pictures while I had a chance. Yesterday we went sledding with our neighbors, the Christensens. The kids had so much fun. Even though the snow was sparse, the hills still ran well enough to have a lot of fun. Mostly it was just good to be together, be outdoors and have some fun. Freeloader' Natalie has worn out her own personal rope lift.
