Friday, August 30, 2013. Eleven month boy with 2 teeth is finally getting those top ones in! Our little baby boy is one month away from being a one year old! Monday, July 29, 2013. Lincoln crawling into 10 months. Nothing is off limits now. Just in the last week, he's taken off. He is also really keen to pull himself up on things. He hasn't been super successful yet, but you can tell he is just on the cusp of being quite successful. The anticipation of his crawling was just killing us, but now we remember how quick they can be! Lincoln has a lot more conversation style with us. I recently read this about tone, and definitely find it to be true with him:.

Sunday, September 22, 2013. Some average weekend fun. This weekend Olivia got to see her cousin Quinn and Grandma Janie for a book reading at the art museum. Then, she and Quinny admired the campanile. And played around on the steps. Quinn joined us for lunch, and after lunch, the kids got rowdy jumping on the bed; it was clear Lincoln wanted to be involved with the jumping business. But he settled for some snuggles. He is a big boy, and it is clear that he is approaching the timeline of wanting to eat solids! He watches very intently as we eat - and if he is on my lap when I eat, he follows the spoon all the way back to my mouth - and/or when I drink. At times, he will even try to intercept! Thursday, June 27, 2013. Lincoln is 9 months old already! Though Lincoln isn't mobile, he certainly is getting a lot more active! He has a little bit of scooting that he does, getting to things as. He needs, and he is working on a crawl, just usually manages to grab whatever he wanted by hitting something against another thing with his arm extended as far out as possible. It's pretty cute, but makes mom quite nervous in the bathtub portion of the evening! He also is very active with both of his hands.
