Thursday, May 5, 2011. Root Beer Pulled Pork. This is the best shredded pork. My husband even loved it enough to take leftovers to work and he doesn't like pork! 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder roast. 1 yellow onion sliced into rings. 2 cups root beer. 1-2 tbs Tabasco (I used 1 tsp - enough for us). 1 cup chili sauce. Place roast in crock pot, layer with onions and pour remaining ingredients over the top. Cook on low about 8 hours until meat will shred. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Can't help but smile :). I am not sure how it is that I have not come across this until now, but I absolutely love it. This adorable couple near 90 years old, who perform at nursing homes, hospitals, care centers, and churches primarily seem to have a few things figured out when it comes to being happy. To know her is to love her. Ladyyou know the one with the cute little figure, great coordination, always dressed in perfect fashion, her house always seems to be clean and organized, and she somehow seems to always be on top of things. The thing is, it isn't just a facade, she really is just that good. I feel blessed to be her daughter and love her dearly. Happy Birthday Mom. LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER! Tuesday, August 4, 2009. 1 Package Onion Soup Mix. 1 Bottle Chili Sauce. Place all ingredients in a crock pot. And cook for 7-10 hours. The meat will shred easily when meat is done. Serve over mashed potatoes. 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/2 cup basil pesto. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover cookie sheet with foil. Put pesto and chicken in bowl and toss chicken until well coated. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through. Place slices of tomato on chicken and sprinkle with mozzarella.

Monday, October 26, 2009. I love rosemary bread. It tastes so good with soups and stews. However, the artisan breads that the supermarket sells can cost $4.00 for a small loaf. I don't like using my breadmaker (a wedding gift that's now 8 years old, and up until recently has been used less than 8 times). Whenever I do, the bread comes out heavy and tough (which is probably more due to my lack of skill using a breadmaker than the breadmaker's fault, but it still frustrates me! 3 T olive oil. 1 1/2 tsp salt.
