Thursday, January 20, 2011. Well, life continues on and things are going great. I have graduated from seeing my oncologist on a monthly basis to bi-monthly basis. All is good. The CT scan showed that the nodule in my lung stayed the same size. My oncologist says it's probably a scar on my lung from bronchitis or something like that. Friday, May 28, 2010. Seems swimming will still be out though, because pool water is too hard on your skin. Had my echocardiogram on Thursday then went for my IV that had a dose for three weeks of Herceptin. My veins will have three weeks off! Getting IVs just does not get less painful each time. Started my Tamoxifen and haven't noticed any side effects yet. I mean, I might be getting hot flashes, but I was getting them before on and off anyway. I hope you are all well! Saturday, November 6, 2010. I met with my plastic surgeon this Wednesday and my healing is coming along well. I am now allowed to exercise, yahoo! Lastly, I'm back at work, started back on Wednesday and doing fine. My weight loss is still going well, surprisingly, with Halloween candy eating (in moderation) and loafing around at home with no activity! Time to get outside.Have a great weekend everyone! Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Life back to .er . normal. My 8 month old niece and sister are visiting from Michigan for two weeks so that's keeping me busy right now. I absolutely love having Chloe here and being the evening nanny, as I call myself to Monica. Mon absolutely loved the fact that I changed Chloe's poopy diaper tonight. That's all for now. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. My radiation started last Monday and I've had 7 sessions so far. I have been feeling fine and have seen minimal reaction so far. I fully expect my skin to turn burned red but that's not supposed to be until week 3. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in my previous post but I saw my breast surgeon last week and he mentioned that after my Tamoxifen (5 years) I would be on some other drug indefinitely. What?
