T.S. Ambuscade Association: April 2010
http://ts-ambuscade-association.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Friday, 2 April 2010. Between 1981 and 1994 - we had an annual Easter Camp at Wimbolsley Wood (See Previous Post). Although Easter is at different times each year, I only remember once when the camp was a Washout - Like this year - Great fun, but it was a pain for the younger kids, that had not been away before. Below are a selection of Group Photo's (some Pre-Camp) - can anybody remember the Years? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

T.S. Ambuscade Association: November 2011
http://ts-ambuscade-association.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Thursday, 24 November 2011. My 1st Camp - no it wasn't that one ;-). My 1st Camp, with the Cadets, was the area below Maiden Castle at Bickerton. It was in good old fashioned canvas tents, with rope up doors. Apologies for any Spellings :-). When we got there, we found that a large contingent of Army Cadets were already there - we soon got invited to join in thier Night Exercises. View from Maiden Castle. Links to this post. T.S. Ambuscade Association: March 2009
http://ts-ambuscade-association.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Sunday, 22 March 2009. On the 20th March 2009, we had a Remembrance Service for Paul Reece - who was killed 30 years ago while on active duty in NI. Paul's Family were there, some ex cadets that knew him, and a number of ex-cadets that only knew the Name (But still fealt a connection). Following the displays - a Guard Display by the Cadets and an unrehearsed Ex-cadet Band display - there was the traditional reunion in the Mess. Links to this post.

T.S. Ambuscade Association: Remembrance...
http://ts-ambuscade-association.blogspot.com/2011/11/remembrance.html
Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Sunday, 13 November 2011. Huge crowd at the square, maybe due to it being the mildest November I can remember. And many at the Unit, afterwards (including a few that we haven't seen for a great many years) - Toasting absent friends, cheering on the young cadets and of course "Band Practice". But let's not forget what the day is about. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Official Crewe Sea Cadets Site (Under Construction). Old Guestbook - Read Only.

T.S. Ambuscade Association: September 2010
http://ts-ambuscade-association.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Friday, 17 September 2010. Sailing at Hollingworth Lake. I went on my only Sailing course (April 89) - 1 of the Days there were strong winds, meaning we could not go Sailing. So the kids all went out in Canoes. While on the water, the weather changed drastically to Gale Force. At the end of the week, when it was time for my Sailing exam - there was no wind at all, I could only manage a Token "Lowest Grade" Qualification. Links to this post. Every year w...

Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Friday, 22 April 2011. On Holiday, in Weymouth, I watched a Tall Ship sail into harbour - T.S.Royalist. I never sailed on her, but saw her a few times and know a few cadets that did go to sea. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Friday, 14 November 2008. A large part of the Cadets is based around Water Activities such as Boat Handling. The standard boat used by all Cadets is an ASC (there are differing accounts of what ASC stands for, but the first version I was ever told was Admiralty Sailing Craft. Boat Handling, in brief, is about Using an ASC with Oars (Pulling) and then Rigging it for Sail. Links to this post. Thursday, 13 November 2008. Where did it all start. Facebook Li...

T.S. Ambuscade Association: December 2008
http://ts-ambuscade-association.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Ex Cadets, Members and Friends of Crewe Sea Cadets. Friday, 12 December 2008. For years Crewe were the Best at Drill, in the District at least. We also knew we could beat the likes of Fleetwood and Holyhead at the annual Area competition at Bury. To get the "Sore Loser" bit out of the way - Fleetwood and Holyhead were units with a bit more money, which meant They had the best uniforms. My uniform was more like 20 years old, "Hand me down".
