Wednesday, 8 May 2013. Or, some of us were. My kids were inside at the concert of ONE DIRECTION, I was waiting outside with MANY other parents, so we could get them all safe back home. I drove happily the 160 km x 2 for my kids to experience this once in a lifetime ( maybe) event. And they were exstatic, it had been a dream come true. Allthough their ears kept ringing for days afterwards, and not because of the loud music, but because of the 12000 screaming girls. And she looked like this at her big day:.

Babble about my life and ever-changing interests. By Of Pups n Pearls. Thanks for your kind words. I’m especially thankful for my local friends who have been wonderful about “leaning in.” Unlike Ms. Sandberg. I believe we should lean into EACH OTHER, rather than career opportunities, but I share her notion that when we lean in, we’re all stronger and society – and each of us as individuals – is better for it. Babble about my life and ever-changing interests. By Of Pups n Pearls. This one could also be called “Not the Mama.”. Me and my mother, circa 1980 – from a Polaroid! I went to lunch yesterday with another friend who is past child-bearing age (or at least, what most of us still consider such) and it was a study in familiarity and manners. SURELY we must be mothers. I wonder if my younger friends have that problem? I don’t feel any more left out on Mother’s Day than I do on Father’s Day, ...Same day…...

Grannie Pantries: April 2015
http://granniepantries.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
A place to appreciate the horrors of vintage cookbooks. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. I wasn't quite sure how to draw your attention to our humble friend, the legume, so just imagine those words on a blinking neon sign (in the same style as the "Girls! Signs at "gentlemen's" clubs) and see if that helps. Okay, probably not. Other people's lack of enthusiasm didn't stop Jacqueline Heriteau from writing The Complete Book of Beans. 1978), so I shall follow her example and plow ahead anyway. Labels in a lot of ...

krakilette: By the water
http://krakilette.blogspot.com/2015/02/by-water.html
Lørdag 14. februar 2015. All my life, I've lived by the Oslo fjord, except a few years when I was a student, then I lived in another town. By a river. I love walking along the water, all year around. It smells of salt and sea, seaweed, lovely sounds of water against rocks and sand, the waves, the wind. It's really soothing and good to my soul. I never realized how lucky we were to have so many places within such closeness, to go swimming! Thats how it is when you are young. A little fishing boat.

Torsdag 15. august 2013. A new leaf on our tree. My little sister became a mother for the first time a few days ago! She is a year younger than me, and they've had such a long way to go to become parents! All I can say is that technology and science sometimes can make dreams and miracles come true, and now there is one more beautiful child in our family, who might do great things and make a difference! He is so beautiful and sweet, and I am so grateful that I've become an aunt one last time!
