Mum of five and enjoying life! What do I need for Labour? March 11, 2017. A few mums, particularly first time mums, have asked me to do a blog on what you actually need when you go into labour. I am going to start packing my hospital bag/homebirth box this week (I am 34 weeks pregnant) although you can get it ready whenever it suits you. I have broken it down a bit, this is just my personal list. For a hospital bag. 8211; pack a few pairs of maternity Knickers or a size bigger than you usually wear.
