Like Isabel Allende and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Esquival is absolutely brilliant at evoking sensuality and a sense of magic in her writing. I not only fell in love with her characters but felt the atmosphere was so rich and delicious I could almost smell and taste it. A beautiful book that I'm only too happy to read again. The Opposite of Hate.
