Ketchup and Soup: October 2008
http://ketchupandsoup.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Real talk on places we go. Friday, October 31, 2008. We were waiting to go see a movie and decided to grab a beer at World Sports Grille located inside Gameworks. Because some sort of sports were playing on the mega tvs all over the bar they had some sort of special on bud light. I think the huge glass was only 3 bucks. Not bad. We also decided to order some snacks so we got down on some fries. We also tried the hot wings. Seattle, WA 98101. Open 11am-10pm, on Sat. they stay open til 11pm. Back in the da...

Thoughts from my inner Diva Dragon: It's personal
http://chaigeishagirl.blogspot.com/2011/12/its-personal.html
Thoughts from my inner Diva Dragon. Monday, December 19, 2011. Again I have been spotty with my updates for a week or so. Just to let you know . . . my husband goes into surgery in just over 12 hours. I am home to take care of our furry babies before getting ready for an early morning of waiting around . . . then more waiting around to see the surgeon and have him tell me my husband is okay. More on that next time - I should be in bed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Yea...

Thoughts from my inner Diva Dragon: October 2011
http://chaigeishagirl.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thoughts from my inner Diva Dragon. Thursday, October 20, 2011. Tattoos and piercings belong to the weirdos . . . and I'm one of them. I overheard a conversation between a mother and son at the gas station yesterday. It struck me as odd, but at the same time it was really familiar. It's amazing what a couple decades can do to a person's outlook. Here's what I envision she is thinking while she is talking to her son:. Here is what is standing on the other side of the gas pump from her:. That's it for now ...

Thoughts from my inner Diva Dragon: All that glitters - which is suprisingly little
http://chaigeishagirl.blogspot.com/2012/04/all-that-glitters-which-is-suprisingly.html
Thoughts from my inner Diva Dragon. Monday, April 2, 2012. All that glitters - which is suprisingly little. These are my first attempt at tape lines. I did candy cane striped nails for Christmas before this look, but didn't get a pic of those. Tape designs are probably my favorite because I have tape readily available. Hearts for Valentine's Day. This design was fun - I got the hang of the hearts by the time I did the second hand, so it all worked out. Shamrocks (never say clovers). NEW in the Shop!

Thursday, March 26, 2009. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. 12 mysterious onions full of tears. Well, the weather seems to be broken.but I sure am loving it! After work this afternoon, I grabbed a bagel at Roxy's. An americano at Fremont Coffeeshop. And headed to Gasworks. Along the way, I found this mysterious onion right alongside the Burke-Gilman, just west of the Fremont Bridge. The little tag read: "The Onion Years" by artist A.K. "Mimi" Allin. And carefully placed them inside the onion. I couldn't find any i...

Sunday, February 20, 2011. I have done it! I have become.A KNITTER! I knit. I purl. And in the last week or so I learned how to. Increase stitches (3 ways! Decrease stitches (3 ways! Cable cast-on, and knit a buttonhole. And then I knit a seed-stitch cowl-neck scarf! And then I knit my first hat! And then - CAN YOU FEEL HOW EXCITED I AM ABOUT MYSELF RIGHT NOW? I took some semi-fabulous photographs of my works with my new Nikon D90 and 50mm lens:. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Monday, February 14, 2011.

Sunday, January 30, 2011. 7:23 am. Espresso Express. A light went on that has never gone on before. Saturday, January 29, 2011. Let the Right One In. By John Ajvide Lindqvist. The 2008 Swedish film by the same name is a must-see. If you love misfit love stories. And great cinematography. And/or horror/vampires. (Real vampires. Not that sparkly Twilight stuff.). My favorite misfit love story:. I cry every time. Every scene is perfect, memorable, touching. It's almost time. Maybe in the spring. Trout Fishi...

Monday, September 5, 2011. Remember the time that Facebook showed you that your childhood 'nemesis' (aka the girl that made fun of you and tortured you in elementary school) turned into complete White Trash (capitals necessary) and became a single mother of two before she turned 24? OH WAIT. That's what happened to me. (Not you, too? Seriously. I cannot tell you how much I hate Facebook. Real Updates: coming soon.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seattle, WA, United States.
