Moments with The Smith's. Our little monster is turning one! Thursday, August 22, 2013. Our little monster is turning one! Planning for Keaton's party is well underway and my mom and I are having so much fun! Our theme is "little monsters" and I got my inspiration from this party. Drew and I realized that a first birthday is more about us as the parents making it through the first year.haha! I know Keaton isn't going to remember all these details, but I love throwing a themed party and can't help myself!

Moments with The Smith's. Dresser before and after. Friday, February 13, 2015. Dresser before and after. I found a great wood dresser on craigslist and my handy husband got to do another project! Deep down I know he loves all the projects I give him.ha! Of course, I didn't get a before pic with the drawers in, but I love the "after" with the new hardware spray painted gold and beautiful pink. We have white walls in baby girl's room so this pop of color on the dresser works great. Primed and ready to paint.

With the first child when he turned four I might as well handed him the car keys. I thought he was huge and old enough to take care of himself (that was partially true since I was taking care of two other babies at the time). With Cora though….
