A glimpse into our crazy world. August 2, 2013. We have a small flock of chickens. We have six older birds, ( five hens and one rooster) and five younger birds ( as well as four little, littles). We introduced my nearly three month olds to the older flock and one of the birds hurt her leg. She has been living in the lower end of my breezeway for about a week. This morning she apparently got herself out of the tote and was wandering around. Then this happened……. Apparently, she needed to make a phone call.

On April 18, 2009. Today is the day we go to our parent retreat at a local resort. It is for parents of kids with special needs, through the school district. We get to learn about topics like parenting a child with special needs, helping kids improve attention and focus, increasing child’s communincation skills and sensory strategies. On April 15, 2009.
