Mommy Has A Story

Mommy Has A Story. What's really going on? Wednesday, June 11, 2014. The Sand House pt. 3. I've always tried to change things for the better. Or at least my interpretation of the better. I believe I know what's right and how things should be and can never understand why people don't do the right thing. Some people may call me controlling. But those people aren't very nice. After years of trying to change the world, I've. This is how my world would look. I think an ocean view helps with digestion. My dad ...

Mommy Has A Story: The Sand House pt.2

Mommy Has A Story. What's really going on? Wednesday, June 4, 2014. The Sand House pt.2. I heard the no, between his chuckles and warped speech, the kind I usually have to rummage through to find the words he actually means to use. I feel myself starting to sink. I tread harder but play dumb because I'm tired and don't have the energy a commitment to this conversation will require. I ask, hoping I'm wrong about what I'm suspecting he means. "No, what? Since he was duped by his Internet Bride. They serve ...

Mommy Has A Story: February 2014

Mommy Has A Story. What's really going on? Thursday, February 20, 2014. Lostmnesia.a process with some victories. I don't want anyone to think that just because I've had a short story and a feature magazine article published this month that I think I'm a rock star or some kind of super hero. But what really does deserves a pat on the back is that I overcame the limitations I placed on myself long enough to finally make something happen with that writing. Charlene Ross, me, Kim Tracy Prince and Lexi Rohner.

Mommy Has A Story: August 2008

http://www.mommyhasastory.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Mommy Has A Story. What's really going on? Tuesday, August 19, 2008. If you put your face close enough, these days, Kaleb may reach up and give it a squeeze. He may explore your cheeks with soft, tentative fingers and sometimes you might even get a heartbreaking giggle. And if you're still standing, he'll knock you over if he accompanies this burst of love with a cavernous display of his toothless gums. Or maybe that's just me. The hair blow dryer has become my best friend. Times when he's too tired ...

Mommy Has A Story: July 2008

http://www.mommyhasastory.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Mommy Has A Story. What's really going on? Thursday, July 10, 2008. Kaleb the Sailor Man! Today Kaleb is 14 weeks old. (that's 3 months and six days for the laypeople). And he is changing and growing. Fast. Too fast (see previous entry.). When I first met him I thought he looked like a little Asian boy. Then he started to look like an Eskimo. I thought, who has Eskimo in their family? What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor? What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor? Who makes these decisions? At his thr...

Things That are Bad for You – Charlene Ross

https://charleneaross.com/2014/07/03/things-that-are-bad-for-you

A humorous slice of life. Life and its Little Slices. Things That are Bad for You. July 3, 2014. Last week I had my writers’ group over to my house. I was speaking to my uncle before my friends came over and he said I had to wear the present that he and my aunt gave me for my birthday. They gave me an apron. And while that doesn’t really seem like something one would wear to a writers group, because I am a good niece, I did. So nice to know I’m classy! Things that are bad for me. A second cup of coffee.

Dystonic mama

Friday, September 5, 2014. A brief summary of my story. I would like to try and tell my story About my battle with generalized dystonia. I first began spasms over 5 years ago. I was a nanny and loved my job. I was thriving at work and excited about my pregnancy. I woke up early am/ more towards the middle of the night and had pulling of my mouth and arching of my back and tightening of muscles. I went to the e.r and they said baby was probably sitting on a nerve and I would be ok. Posted by Katie Ann.

Raising a daughter with special needs. I'm fine, but my Mommy has issues! What makes Oli special? It’s been 6 months since I’ve written. Probably even longer since I’ve written anything with 100% honesty in my heart and left it all out here on the page. It’s been 8 months since I got divorced. It’s been 1 hour since I decided to not let the fear of who might read what I’ve written stop me from being true to myself and writing what I need to, to cleanse my soul. Running and writing do that for me. Sometim...
