Chicago Brewing Company | Mommy The Scientist's Blog
https://mommythescientist.wordpress.com/2009/11/23/chicago-brewing-company
Mommy The Scientist's Blog. Random thoughts by me. Yesterday, after a weekend full of cleaning, my husband (I think today I shall call him the Brewmeister) and I treated ourselves to a nice late lunch/early dinner at Chicago Brewing Company. A local Las Vegas brewpub. We’ve been there before, but since it is clear across town we don’t go there very often. On November 23, 2009 at 2:13 pm Leave a Comment. To TrackBack this entry is:. Week two | Mommy The Scientist's Blog
https://mommythescientist.wordpress.com/2011/09/10/week-two
Mommy The Scientist's Blog. Random thoughts by me. I had a lot going on this week, so lunches were a bit less planned. Let’s see if I can remember what all was packed for Primus this week. On Sunday, we had ordered pizza for dinner and had leftovers, so I packed a slice of pizza for lunch. I added apples and yogurt, but the yogurt spilled on the apples and he refused to eat them. I added sugar snap peas for a vegetable, but he didn’t like them. On September 10, 2011 at 4:06 pm Leave a Comment. Leave a Re...
First week of school | Mommy The Scientist's Blog
https://mommythescientist.wordpress.com/2011/09/03/first-week-of-school
Mommy The Scientist's Blog. Random thoughts by me. First week of school. So, this week was the first week of Kindergarten for Primus. I am proud of myself, I managed to have decent lunches packed every day for myself, my husband, and Primus. I don’t have any pictures this week. Right now it takes enough of my energy getting the new daily routine down without adding to it. Finally, on Friday, I decided to try to make an upgraded version of the typical Lunchables meal, packing vegetable Ritz crackers, pepp...
Kindergarten Lunches | Mommy The Scientist's Blog
https://mommythescientist.wordpress.com/2011/08/16/kindergarten-lunches
Mommy The Scientist's Blog. Random thoughts by me. Primus is entering kindergarten soon. He is enrolled in a charter school, which means they get money from the school district to pay for their normal costs, but they don’t have facilities supplied by the district. The building that the school is in does not have a kitchen, so the chices for Primus’ lunch is to bring it from home or order it from a third party catering business. https://mommythescientist.wordpress.com/2011/09/25/getting-the-hang-of-it-i-think
Mommy The Scientist's Blog. Random thoughts by me. Getting the hang of it – I think. So, I think I am starting to get the hang of the lunch making routine. I did much better this week than I did last week. Also, since the man did not take his lunch in on Friday, I actually have a picture for all of you non-existant followers. About 2-3 cups cooked pasta, any shape ( I tend to use Barilla Plus rotini or penne), cooled. About 1 cup Small broccoli florets. About 1 cup cubed cheese. 1 small can sliced olives.

Mommy The Scientist's Blog | Random thoughts by me.
Mommy The Scientist's Blog. Random thoughts by me. Haven’t been keeping up with blogging, but still packing lunches. Ok, I am not very good at blogging. I haven’t had the time, or when I did have the time, I couldn’t remember what I packed. I have to admit that I have relented to the allowance of 1 Lunchables/week, whether it is eaten on the day spent with Daddy commuting from home, or sent to school as lunch. It gives me a day where I haven’t had to think of something to pack. Tonight, if the fussy Tert...

August 10, 2015 · 3:56 pm. Introducing the Letter P with Penguins, Pirates, and Polar Bears {homeschool preschool}. This week, my middle two kiddos are learning about the letter P. I’m working on recognizing the letter with my 2 year old and phonics and writing with my 4 year old. I’m not using any specific curriculum with the 2 year old. The 4 year old will begin Handwriting Without Tears in a couple of weeks, but for now I’m just doing lots of different activities and reading. What begins with P? They ...
