A Mom of 2 Shews. Thursday, August 18, 2011. God Is Who He Says He Is. Warning: Not about my kids but not totally unrelated. When He asks 100% of what I have am I willing to give it to Him? My immediate response is yes, perhaps solely because I know that is what I should say. What God wants of me and asks of me is very simple. Worship, praise, recognize, sacrifice and discipline. Simple not in doing but simple in knowing. The Apostle Paul is my favorite example of a complete existence devoted to God.

After a nice breakfast at Stagecoach in Elk Grove we made our way to San Jose to visit Jen, Brian and our niece Brooklyn. The supposed reason for the invitation to visit was to see Jen and Brian's new home in San Jose, although, I had my suspicions as to the true objective of the visit. More on that later. Andy and I accomplished our goal of. And I must say Andy was not as excited to do this as I was, but somehow he transformed once we started and was such a great source of encouragement and support for me.he filled my water a couple times, and just encouraged me the whole way! We had such a fun day.filled with going to our favorite breakfast spot, Meldogs, in the morning. Noah had a huge pancake, peaches, and scrambled eggs. Then we put him down for a nap and by the time he got up, everyone was arriving for the party! We set up a little pool and sprinklers, Noah had so much fun! Thursday, May 5, 2011. May 20, 1929-May 1, 2011. On May 1st, 2011, Andy's grandfather Charlie Baughman passed away after fighting for about 6 months after heart surgery last November. He was an amazing husband to his wife Nancy, for almost 56 years! We will all be very sad that he is no longer with us, with his constant huge smile that I know I will always remember about him. He was the type of person that truly smiled with his eyes. Charlie and Nancy on their 50th anniversary (2005) in Hawaii.

Sunday, March 25, 2012. The Final NICU Days. Micah began making progress - very slowly - once he was off the ventilator. We learned that the recovery from a surgery like his goes very slowly. On Monday, January 30th, (eight days after he was taken off the ventilator, and ten days after his surgery! Micah got to eat for the first time! They started him off with 1 teaspoon every 3 hours!
