Seattle Rock and Roll Half Marathon 2012 Recap. After a few weeks of great training I realized this year was NOT my year. After battling my son one morning about getting ready in time so I could get my workout in.I realized that there is no reason to rush this and I can wait! Wait until both kids are in school FULL time. Even my yearly race, Rock-n-Roll Seattle!

A Pretty Good Week! On my treadmill while the sun is shining outside. Sigh. Here is a little recap of my week starting with Monday's 10 mile run. On the treadmill. Mid morning snack – Piece of fruit with cheese. Lunch – Vegetarian or lean meat in veggie-filled wrap and cottage cheese with fruit. Mid afternoon snack – Veggies with hummus and Wasa cracker(s). Dinner – Brown rice with lentils and spinach and scrambled eggs. Dark chocolate (70% – 85% cacao). Too much red meat.
