Since my kids were in foster care, I have worked hard to maintain the bond that they have with their biological siblings. We always have a visit around the holidays but meeting up on Christmas or Thanksgiving is just not practical. Finally, we realized that Halloween was the answer. It is a kid friendly holiday and we didn’t have family events that would conflict with a visit. Luckily, T agreed.

After I got separated and began filtering out all the bad, I somehow started morphing into this new me. Thanks, largely in part, to my new family of friends. Hi Tim, Nicole, Jeremy, Katie, Josh, and Alexa! They accepted me for who I was and have continued to accept me through all of my crap. 🙂. So much as better. Tuesday kicked my butt!
