http://anana.canalblog.com/archives/p24-4.html
Merci encore Monique, toutes ces choses me plaisent énormement! Je les aime beaucoup!

Gail's Good Yarn: Easy, Air-y, Purse-stitch Cowl
http://sskyop2.blogspot.com/2014/11/easy-air-y-purse-stitch-cowl.html
A knitting blog, interspersed with other life crises and pleasures. Thursday, November 13, 2014. Easy, Air-y, Purse-stitch Cowl. This is my fourth version of a one-skein cowl that I decided to name the Easy, Air-y, Purse-stitch Cowl. It was so popular (in my family) that daughter #1 selected a pale blue version for herself; daughter #2 requested a very long one made out of grey sock yarn, and stylish sister #2 was thrilled with her ice-grey one! Here are the instructions. You could also use Kid Silk Haze.

Gail's Good Yarn: February 2009
http://sskyop2.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
A knitting blog, interspersed with other life crises and pleasures. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Oh, the weather outside is frightful. And the fire is so delightful,. Since we've no place to go,. Let it snow." (with gratitude to the composer Jule Style and lyricist Sammy Cahn). I used Paton's sock yarn so the palms would last forever. Maybe that threw off my gauge. The first mitten was wide enough for two hands. Realizing that I could not simply wash and shrink the mitten (cause I was using s...Although ...

Gail's Good Yarn: March 2010
http://sskyop2.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
A knitting blog, interspersed with other life crises and pleasures. Thursday, March 18, 2010. 15 Seconds of Fame. I'm basking in my 15 seconds of fame. Kay of Mason Dixon Knitting. Recent blog posting showed me (minus my head) and my recently de-bottomed Dale of Norway sweater. The "Gail" she described, that's me! She thought I was brave/delusional/insane for cutting the bottom off of my recently finished sweater. No one else has knocked at my door to admire my sweater, but I'm honored nonetheless. Tonig...

Gail's Good Yarn: Kate's Cardigan for Gail
http://sskyop2.blogspot.com/2010/05/kates-cardigan-for-gail.html
A knitting blog, interspersed with other life crises and pleasures. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Kate's Cardigan for Gail. This is a very belated post. I made Kate's Cardigan last spring, but am finally writing about it this spring, after a season of wear and a winter in the basement closet! My apologies to those who think I am a speed knitter- I truly am not! I also have a thing for pie crust collars- me, a woman who eschews ruffles and typically wears only unadorned and very simple items of clothing. This si...

Gail's Good Yarn: April 2010
http://sskyop2.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
A knitting blog, interspersed with other life crises and pleasures. Saturday, April 17, 2010. Double Applied I-Cord with Apologies to Elizabeth Zimmerman. Apologies to my husband whom I blamed for deleting photos of the blanket I made for Daughter #2. I found the photos on i-Photo! Getting ready: Pin the two fabrics together with the amount of ease you need to make the two pieces match. STEP TWO: Picking up stitch from the edging. I "generated" an I-cord stitch from the edging after working the three I-c...

Gail's Good Yarn: What WAS I thinking??
http://sskyop2.blogspot.com/2014/06/what-was-i-thinking.html
A knitting blog, interspersed with other life crises and pleasures. Thursday, June 19, 2014. What WAS I thinking? Yet another unfinished project from the past. When looking backwards in time I have often wondered, "What on earth was I thinking? When trying to figure out why I did what I did- or didn't- do. My vow to complete all of my unfinished knitting projects has prompted me to wonder this many times. What WAS I thinking? Maybe I just didn't want to sew the darn thing together. Maybe the season c...
