Sean and I disagreed on how each of us responded to L’s (and mine) packing oversight. I think Sean was too harsh. He thinks I was too lenient. While “discussing” this Sean, blurted out, “He is not a fragile flower! And inside I raged and shook and screamed, “Yes HE IS! YES he is. Yes. He. Is.”. He was only three. Or let it go?

If I could put time in a bottle…. Today I did something I haven’t done in years – I bought. Books – 4 of them! It all started when my daughter Amber and I stopped by Carmichael’s Bookstore. In Louisville just to browse after lunch. It’s a tiny downtown bookstore with a wonderful atmosphere and books stuck everywhere. If I could put time in a bottle…. He’s gonna make it after ah-ll. Today my husband got his first social security retirement check. We are both quite excited. It’s a milestone. He turned 62 last November. Even though I’m still working (and glad to be) we are both celebrating. He’s going to try to keep working 1-2 days a week just so he stays in touch with the real world and once the weather warms up – he’ll play golf.
