Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Having read this page again, I now feel under pressure to produce another series! Well, let's see. I've recently re-watched "The Quiet American" and was captivated by the delicate and vulnerable beauty of Phuong. So, I think she will be the central character for this next series. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. This one was inspired by the film. Based on a real story about a woman who was widowed and found herself wealthy and bored. After trying all the socially acceptable hobbies ( eg. Embroidery) she decides to buy a run down old theatre in London and turn it into something along the lines of the Moulin. Anyway, nice story and great costumes! I can't remember the name of the girl in the film that this painting is based on, but she had beautiful bone structure which I hope I've.
