As I made my way back to the hotel, I found a local shopping mall, with a large section of beauty salon products, from wigs to color to scissors to chairs and gowns and the special lights that go outside, kinda like a barber pole in black and white. The World According to Jen. Friday, December 30, 2005. Well we survived. Of course, we didn't manage to decorate our tree until yesterday, but who's counting? Christmas Eve took us to JD's house for prime rib (yummy), lots of sides, and the chocolate port wine cake I bought for my brother's birthday (yummy again). Who threw me a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, complete with wee crustless sandwiches, tea, artisanal cookies, and a hat-decorating competition.
