Doll of the Day. Happy Birthday to Me! Happy Birthday (to Me). February 24, 1966. I'm 100% well. Hooray! So I'm in full schedule mode working several Shop 66 big orders working a few days a week at Teaching Carolina. I'll be back to blogging on a regular basis soon but for now it will be every few days. Doll of the Day. Soviet era toys are amazing. I love them all. I've read that aesthetic appearance of the toys were not a priority of Soviet designers but I see more beauty in their primary colors and simplicity (especially love the plastic ones). They also look timeless and modern. Here are a few examples of why I'm in love with them. All the above were found on Etsy or Ebay using the search words "Soviet (or Russia) Toy". Later in the week I'll share some photos of the few Soviet toys in my collection.

Doll of the Day. Nervous excitement. 9 days until the baby's due date! We don't know what we are doing or thinking or anything. Good Sun-day, to you! On Wednesday 'Summer Nights' at church we had a chili cook off and matchbox car races. That's Dade jumping as his car speeds down the ramp.
