Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Our first Easter egg hunt. Though the kids and I do Easter egg hunts at our house year round (literally), we'd never been to an organized one. This year, we heard about one at Bauman Farm that sounded fun and inexpensive (hard to believe, since Bauman's pumpkin patch activities are quite spendy! Wednesday, January 7, 2015. When he's asleep, I desperately try to get the kitchen cleaned up and laundry washed (notice I didn't say "put away" ;). On top of that, you probably know that Porter had three febrile (fever-related) seizures in October and November. While they are the "good" kind to have, they are completely terrifying. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. A windy day at the beach. We have new neighbors from Maryland. Though she's originally from Alaska, we went to college with her brother. Michelle, a nurse, is so sweet. And my kids LOVE her! Sadly, they're only renting the house. The only place that was even remotely out of the wind had little chunks of charcoal everywhere, so we were instantly black all over, too. Not my favorite trip to the beach, though we did get ice cream and have fun with Michelle. Check out the chub!

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Three months late. Boo. But I do want to get it documented on here, so better late than never. Judson's birthday was on a Friday this year, which meant he got to celebrate with his friends at school on the actual day. He got to bring treats. He chose ice cream sandwiches (and we brought popsicles, too), which made it VERY easy on me. We had a very full, fun day celebrating our big guy. He loved every minute of it! Saturday, December 21, 2013. First snow of the season. I didn't get many pictures, but you get the idea. He didn't fall, but I can't remember what he was doing. Friday, December 6, 2013. Friday, March 28, 2014. Our sweet guy is two months old already! He's so smiley now and I just can't get enough of it. A few other things to report:. His most-used nickname is Porter Pie, but I also call him Baby Cakes and Babykins. Nate sometimes calls him Guy Smiley. :). He's sleeping about seven hours straight most nights and just started going down earlier at night. He's actually done better about going back to sleep the past few days. I'm hoping it continues.). He's only ever had three (maybe four) ...
