New Beginnings (and ends). January 3, 2017. January 3, 2017. Ever since I was a little girl (9 years old to be exact) I have helped out in my family’s local Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is called Matsukaze, it was started by my dad, his three brothers, and their mom and has been around for 33 years. Which is. Of course, when I became of working age, my “helping out” turned into clocking into my professional job like any average Joe. I can’t wait to grow in the company and hopefully become mo...

Come Along on my Adventure. January 5, 2017. It’s been quite a while since I’ve made a post soley dedicated to you, my readers, and I felt like I was due for a new introduction… So if you haven’t been following me for too long, here are a few things about me. I am sixteen years old, and a senior in high school. Yes, I am very young for my grade. Pacific Northwest Girl / 1.1.17. January 2, 2017. The first of the new year. A time for friends and adventures. Today was spent frolicking in the snow that fell on the valley floor, listening to good music and taking an abundance of pretty pictures. One thing I aspire to do in 2017 is to become a better photographer. I love having an object in my hands that I can use to capture all of God’s beauty. But to be honest, I am such an amateur. I don’t know anything. Follow me on Instagram. Liked by 1 person.

Crepes / Gluten Free, Vegan, Refined Sugar Free. December 11, 2016. December 11, 2016. Who doesn’t love crepes? I know I do, especially on a chilly morning with a cup of coffee, and topped with a generous amount of peanut butter. Today I’m sharing my all-time favorite gluten free, vegan, refined sugar-free. First, I wanted to quickly mention my crepe topping/filling of choice; this delicious Wild Friend’s. And secondly, I added the Enjoy Life gluten free all purpose flour. 1/4 cup coconut oil (liquified).

January 1, 2017. 2016 has given me a multitude of blessings. On the 1st of the year I began a long diet journey, where I cut out all gluten, dairy, eggs and refined sugar. It was a major. 2016 has also given me a new job as a barista in a locally owned coffee shop franchise. I have met new people, built lasting friendships, and even reconnected with old friends. I was lucky enough to escape my small town numerous times throughout the year… once with just my sister and a few of our close friends on ...
