The journey of an ever learning herb simpler. Wednesday, 31 October 2012. It’s been eight months since my last post. I've had a busy year with trying to establish a new business, holding down a full time job and family commitments. After managing to accumulate quite a few partly completed herb assignments I've arranged with Sarah to repeat this year’s work in 2013. A sprig of rosemary was placed on the round table as a symbol of remembrance for members who had died. It won't be so long until I post again!

A journey discovering the essential essence of Herbs during my apprenticeship at Springfield Sanctuary. Saturday, 28 January 2012. So much to learn, so much to do, so many places to visit, so much yet to become - too much to do, too much to learn, too many places I haven't been to, too many days are passing on by without me reining in the beauty and space in time to produce the required experiments and goods! Maybe I'm a late starter. Saturday, 7 January 2012. Get to know the ally more intimately. Write ...

Thursday, 27 September 2012. After so Long…. Well, I have been pretty rubbish at blogging since the beginning of the year so, after a stern reminder to us all from Sarah, I will try and redeem myself whilst I have a day or two off work! The theoretical tasks have been good prompts to keep up my reading around anatomy and physiology – having gained a diploma in it last year I have been enjoying not poring over the books but the tasks Sarah set on looking at specific body systems and the herbs associ...

On the winter solstice I went to Glastonbury with a friend and we visited a small Templar chapel and alms houses. There is a lovely garden that has been restored and is sheltered with a wall around it. We were so surprised on the 21st of December to find:. A yellow rose in bloom. Alpine strawberry in fruit.
