Post your question as a comment. Alpine flowers at Grey Rock. Saturday, May 28, 2011. The Water Lilies have opened and closed about 4 times today. They slowly unfold when the sun is out and close up tight when the clouds come back in and at night. If I had a time release camera set up, I could offer a great video.

http://iowagarden.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Gardening in a woods in eastern Iowa; a visual narrative. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. This time of year, when the rose bushes are so weighted down with flowers, they reach the ground, and the catbird is singing in his tree so enthusiastically, I fear he'll burst, it's hard sometimes to get me out of the garden. An Iowa Garden: Two Good Things
http://iowagarden.blogspot.com/2009/05/two-good-things.html
Gardening in a woods in eastern Iowa; a visual narrative. Sunday, May 24, 2009. Posted by IBOY @ 6:40 AM. I love all the textures and leaf shapes in that bed, punctuated by blue and yellow. It looks so pretty with the dappled light on it. May 24, 2009.

Discovering in our home garden, the health benefits and pure joy of growing our own fresh organic vegetables, and stopping to smell our own beautiful roses. Monday, November 13, 2006. The Last of the Summertime Produce. This was what I call the last of the really, truly summertime produce that I got out of the garden. It may not look like much to someone else, but I was thrilled! One cantaloupe, and one banana pepper. The cantaloupe did not taste like much, but it sure was pretty! Links to this post.
