July 23, 2015. Attention: Please read this sentence aloud: Hello, Molly. If you read it out loud as I instructed, you should be safe. If you read it in your head Molly is now safe, too. Spring blossoms in Reston VA. Today is the Cherry Festival Parade in DC, which means a huge mass of tourists and locals are bumping into each other at the Tidal Basin. It’s the quintessential place to see the famous cherry blossoms, and I’m sure it’s beautiful there today despite the wind. We’ve visited during prior years, but we just didn’t want to deal with the traffic and crowds today. This entry was posted in Nature. And tagged cherry blossoms. April 4, 2009. Near the tree is the National Menorah.
