Monday, January 30, 2012. It's a new semester. Scores are in for the second quarter. Some kids didn't turn in all the assignments, which affected scores. A big one was their reading journal, which was turned in last week. There will be some changes in its format for the third quarter. Monday, January 23, 2012. Last week of Grammar. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. We have been in the computer lab, doing research, finding poems, and turning them into a 5 paragraph essay. Students need to incorporate three quotes about the poet into their paper, remembering a Works Cited page and necessary documentation. It will be due on May 14th. It is a big part of their grade.
