My More Than Full Time Job. Notes from a teacher's desk. Friday, February 11, 2011. I believe in red pens. Aaaah New grading pens. My favorite. Specifically, I like the Pilot G-2 retractable with red ink. It glides across the paper, doesn't smear, and shines like a beacon of knowledge through a 7th grade paper of fog. Papers, Papers, Papers. That woman is a genius). Don't do this anymore! There is nothing quite so jarring as receiving an essay back that looks as though it's bleeding. I believe in red pens.

Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Pesky Essays, FINALLY done! In honor of my finishing these essays, here is what I've learned from my AP juniors:. I mean, seriously. I had blue hyperlinks, centered entries that made the Works Cited page look like poetry (fail), incorrect indents, incorrect entries, non-Times New Roman, too much space between entries, too little space between entries, and even students that forgot to cite their actual primary source (their non-fiction book). Sheesh. This is just stupid to me.
