Monday, June 18, 2012. I visited University Baptist Church. With piano and organ (also my favorite! And lots and lots of hospitality from the members of UBC. In school-related news, I love it. This is the part of social work that I've been DYING to talk about - addictions, and not only addictions, but how our bodies change because of an addiction, group therapy (which I'm kind of thinking I can see myself doing one day), family therapy, interventions! And I'm so excited! To do The Color Run.

My papaw passed away in December. It was not necessarily unexpected, but getting used to the fact that I have only one grandparent now has been incredibly weird. Random Ramblings of a Really Remarkable Writer. Monday, June 25, 2012. I made these two wreaths for the front doors of the church by wrapping a strip of burlap around a styrofoam wreath. I had a few silk orchids leftover from reception centerpieces that I decorated them with, and I used twine to attach letters that I found at Hobby Lobby and painted (with help from my groom- he did the R). To decorate the pews, my mom made tons of burlap roses that we attached to streamers. Here we all are, post ceremony.
