The Melster and Family. Thursday, February 26, 2015. We went to California for Christmas not expecting anything during the holidays. The Sat after Christmas i was woken up by our Realtor- she had 2 offers for us! We asked her to get 'best and final' offers for us and that we would decide by Monday. As we were traveling back home we got yet another offer! We are so blessed to have gotten so many competitive offers- most were beyond our asking price! Today is the day! Look for house updates in the future!

Tay and Des and Kitties. Thursday, May 3, 2012. I'm loving all the cute banners on pinterest lately and all the fun spring crafts! I decided to update my mantle with a fresh look for spring, so I made this banner. The first thing I did was cut out the circles and letters on my Silhouette. I cut out 5.5 inch circles in a bunch of different shades of orange and blue. I also cut out a scalloped circle in white from the stock library and letters to spell the word "spring.". Well look at you go!

And I finally finished the activity blanket that I had been making for him. I bought the pattern at a quilt shop, so I can't post a tutorial for it, but I can say that the pattern was very simple and a lot of fun to make. Here are some pics:. Tay and Des and Kitties. Sunday, October 21, 2012. I made some chalkboard labels for my craft room and this is how I did it:. I bought these cheap little wooden frames at Michael's. I spray painted them light blue to match my room. I took a scrap of fabric and tied it around the top of the frame. Tay and Des and Kitties. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. I made these birdhouses to decorate my craft room. First, I bought these yellow birdhouses at Ross for about $15 each. Then I put some fake flowers and fake little vines that I got at Micheals for a huge discount. On my Cameo Silhouette, I cut out two birds (from the standard free library that comes with the software) and then also cut mirror images of them. I glued them wrong sides together to make 2 birds. The Melster and Family. Monday, February 23, 2015. Growing up through Christmas! Savvy had her 9 month old appt and was in the 15% for weight and 30% for height. Savvy met Santa and Mrs.Claus at a ward Christmas party and she was surprisingly happy to meet them. You see all the pictures of unhappy crying babies when they are young. The Melster and Family. Friday, February 20, 2015. We had a great time visiting my sister and her family in Dallas last week! We went to meet baby Henry and spend time since we haven't seen them in months! We were so used to them living an hour away that we have gone through withdraws! Hazel and Savvy tried to play together but it didn't always work. I guess one day their ages will align! They seemed to have a lot of fun in the bath though! She is proficient in crawling and pulling herself up on any object she can! We had to lower her crib because she was standing up and reaching over.
