Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Black and White Scenery Contest at "Iheartfaces". I follow several photography web sites and I love it when they have contests. One of the sites I follow is "iheartfaces". This week they have a contest for black and white scenery, but it must have a face in it (even if it is the back of a head). Here is the one I chose. This is the beach at the Grand Wailea in Maui. Beautiful - my window holds a look at a cold and rainy Michigan day . Ill take the beach over this any day!

Sunday, February 21, 2010. Each morning, I have the opportunity to drive by the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan. Since it is dark when I leave, I get to see this building with the lights on as the sun comes up. One morning I decided to bring my camera and tripod and sit and wait for some great shots. And, here they are. Each one of these is a differnt shot. They are not the same shot processed differently. This one (above) has a Lomo effect applied to it. I love how it brings out the blue sky.
