Stories about my travels to various and sundry points…. Day 14 – my final day in Vienna…. Originally, I planned to see Schonnbrun Palace, the ornate summer palace of the Hapsburgs, located on the outskirts of the city. But I had a change of plans. I was tired of palaces and luxurious rooms, and wanted to just wander around, seeing what took my fancy on my last day in Vienna. Statue of St. Rupert. Interior of the MAK. The color and design were beautiful. I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to take ph...There w...

Stories about my travels to various and sundry points…. The Tulip Room in Prague. After about 10 minutes, it came up and listed Track 5. It also said that it was delayed twenty minutes. Rats! Finally, it was time to go. I walked back over the bridge and looked out at Prague in the evening dusk. I could see the castle sitting high on the hill above the city, and had a brief spurt of melancholy that I was leaving this beautiful area. But truth be told, I was ready for home. View of castle in distance.

MOSTLY TOYS AND FLYING THINGS
MOSTLY TOYS AND FLYING THINGS. Sunday, October 15, 2017. Super Mario RC Kart Racer. The missing antenna problem has something that didn't discover until we were puzzling over the fact that the kart only worked when I was holding it off the floor, the moment it was set on the floor it went dead and refused to respond to controller inputs. It took a while to notice that the controller was meant to have an antenna and Googling for images soon confirmed that it was supposed to have one. IL2 Forgotten Battles...

I’ve recently bought a Diana Mini, a Lomography camera which is plastic and very very small. It takes either 24mm x 24mm square photos or half-frame photos. It is also very handy for taking multiple exposure shots with, as the shutter is mostly independent of the film winder. Diana Mini, Agfa Vista Plus 200. Blog at WordPress.com.
