Monday, August 04, 2008. Tengai Saadam/ Coconut Rice. Rice - 1 cup. Chana dal - 1tsp. Ulud dal - 1 tsp. Green Chilli (chopped in small pieces) - 1. Grated Coconut - 1 cup. Asafoetida Powder - A pinch. Red Chilli - 1 or 2. Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp. Curry Leaves - A sprig. Cashew (Fried) - optional. Cook Rice and allow it to cool. Expectation is on both sides (including the bride and groom) while none of them would agree that they have lot of expectations from each other. But there is one common thought with both bride and the groom is that they expect that their respective spouse should take care of their parent (which rarely happens due to lot of expectations).
