This is how I like to do eggs – I slip a dash of extra virgin olive oil in the pan and then stir fry a handful of kale around til it softens a little, then crack 3 or 4 eggs in and scramble away. Breakfast in less than 5 minutes. I have been adding greens to my eggs for so long now that eggs without greens taste bland to me. Try it – yummy! Recipe of the week – Slow Roasted shoulder of Pork. My favourite meal is this delicious slow-roasted pork shoulder. 2 red onions, halved.

One year ago today, I had my first weight-in, measure-in, counselling session and juices at Obsidian. In a way that I'd forgotten was possible. My very heaviest weight was in fact two pounds higher than shown above, shortly before my visit to Spain, so:. Weight dropped from 13-1 to 10-6. BMI has gone from just over 30 to just over 24. Saturday, 2 May 2015. More learning: thinking outside the (vegetable) box. I think I'm generally a reasonable cook. I don't go much for pastries and cakes anyway (mercifully), and the traditional feasts are not really my style; but I do enjoy simple, speedy, practical dishes with a lot of flavour. Generally if something takes less than 30 minutes (preferably 20) to cook, and has less than a dozen ingredients, I'm up for it. I've used an increasing number of veggie recipes and latterly of organic produce.
