We were at Robertson Quay to visit the Singapore Tyler Print Institute. As they have free guided tours every Saturday. But since the tour starts at 1 PM, we decided to have lunch first at Bella Pizza. Just a few doors down. Fagottino Di Bufala (SGD 21). Buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomatoes, wrapped in Parma ham. This is something I definitely want to re-create at home! The combination of the salty ham with the creamy cheese and the sweet tomatoes made me think that sharing wasn't such a good thing.

After attending Mass at a nearby church, we decided to hike over to Seribu Rasa. For lunch. It was a bit of a walk to get there and coupled with the midday heat, it felt like forever. But the meal we had was well worth the effort. Lamb Honey Sauce (IDR 97,000). Fried baby lamb ribs sautéed in special spices and honey sauce. Mission San Juan Capistrano. The baby isn't even born yet and it's already changing the way we do things. Earl and I were in Los Angeles last week, but we decided to make this trip as relaxing as possible so as not to stress me (and the baby) out. Basically, it was a shop and eat trip where we hardly did any sightseeing except for a few places such as this one. Founded in 1776, it is where you can find the Serra Chapel (pictured above) which is the oldest building in California in continuous use.

I feel like a failure. First, I wasn't able to give birth naturally - I was deathly afraid of being operated on and I felt that my child missed out on all the benefits of a vaginal birth. Next, I resorted to formula milk on the third day. I had been trying to breastfeed, but noticed that her diapers were clean (no poop or pee) and she also looked desperately hungry despite my efforts.
