http://flora-london-marathon.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
And the life in-between. Sunday, January 29, 2006. 12 weeks to go - 83 days. The final 12 weeks are the deciding part of the marathon training. Most of the published schedules describe this period. Once aganin this means the tightrope walk for me, not to run a higher mileage than my legs can cope with and to do enough to keep my target looking realistic. Back to grey everyday life. This is the week's schedule:. Tuesday: 15K (9m) slow 5:30min/K (8:45min/m). Thursday: 10K (6m) very slow 6:30 (10:30). Start...

And the life in-between. Sunday, March 26, 2006. Down to emergency programme -. 27 days to go. Scheduled: 60K (38m) / done: 33K (21m). Done this race there will be another 3 weeks to go until the London. Might be the foot will force me to have more rest days, but it should be possible to put in just one long run of 20 miles. And this will do for London to enable me to finish. Received the London Marathon Magazine yesterday, containing my registration letter. At first glimpse I couldn't find any major...

http://flora-london-marathon.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
And the life in-between. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Tuesday: gym, 1:30 hrs. Wednesday: bike, 35K, 300m, 1:25 hrs / run, 11K, 150m, 1:03 hrs. This is how I was looking when taking part in our local fun run event last year. It doesn't really look like fun, does it? I have to admit I hate the race for being so exhausting but I love it for the fun before and after the pain. The event is called the "Zwiebelsackträgerstaffellauf". The attempt of a translation may sound like: Onions Bag Relay Race. Certainly I...

What Am I Doing Here?: Stop The Networking
http://eastcoastcalifornian.blogspot.com/2007/05/stop-networking.html
What Am I Doing Here? From Silicon Valley to Washington DC. What was I thinking? These are the random thoughts of a 30-something husband, father and journalist who is slowly adjusting to winter weather, subway commuting and Monday Night Football at 9 pm. Thursday, May 31, 2007. I think it's getting out of control - the whole social networking thing. For me? Twitter. It's this insanely useless feature where you randomly hammer out a 140-character answer to the question, "What Are You Doing? Stacy and Nick...
