Welcome to the Porter Family Web
Welcome to the Porter Family Website. This website was created in 1999 as a way to share photos and videos with our extended family all over the country and a few spread around the globe. The website has gotten pretty huge and unwieldy as a single site so it has been has been split up into volumes. So grab you mouse and start clicking and see what is happening with the Porter Family. The original photo album that contains all of my old photos including my work photos and travels around the world.

The original Porter Family Website got so large that it became quite unmanageable so after several unsuccessful attempts to come up with a scalable design that would not take a year to update I decided that integrating and second website would be much easier. So here it is Volume Two of the Porter Family website. Click here to go back to Volume One. The family takes a vacation Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor.

Welcome to Vista, California! This the original family website now referred to as Volume One. The Photo Album makes up the bulk of the site but you will also find some music and videos as well. As you browse around the site you will find links on both the left and top of the page. The links will change as you move around but there is always a link back to this page. So pour yourself a cup of something, pull up a chair and start clicking. The site is password protected beyond this point.
Dad's Picture's and Stories
Dads Picture CD #1. Here you will find offers from my Dad. Since I got him a computer he has really gotten hooked. Recently he got a scanner for both photos and the slides he has taken over the years. He has been scanning is some of his family pictures. I am including them here (Even if some of the them are embarrassing! This started out as single page but I expanded it out to multiple page in order to keep them organized and to speed up things for the phone modem users out there.

I was fortunate enough to have the following week off from work, and after taking Monday off to recover, I figured I'd better get a ride in before the week got away from me. I decided it was important to make good on my pledge to try to ride more and improve my fitness, and what better way to do that then head out to a close by trail that was one of the few remaining on my 2008 Ride List.
