Tina's Odds and Ends. Sunday, April 7, 2013. Butternut Squash and Carrot Soup. Simple,slightly sweet, creamy soup.*. 1 1/2 Tablespoons grated ginger root. 1 small onion (chopped). 4 cups butternut squash (chopped). 1 cup carrots (chopped). 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves. 1/2 cup Almond coconut milk (or milk or cream of your choice). What's in my Heart and Head. Thursday, 5 June 2014. I have been thinking this morning. At times a silly thing to do. I think today I should have an absolute no people day. Why? Well I have been thinking about the personality traits of the people I know. There are the ones who want to dominate. Then there are the dumb ones. What's in my Heart and Head. Tuesday, 19 August 2014. On my mind. Some experiences I have had and seen over many years with family and acquaintance who have had mental health issues. Is it hard for you to handle? It is hard for them too. Do you want to withdraw your support and walk away because it isn't nice? Standing by them and for them is what they need now, not your withdrawal. Do you want them removed from your problem list? Would you want someone to stand by you if it was you with the same problem?

What's in my Heart and Head. Sunday, 26 August 2012. I took myself walkabout this weekend. Down to the beautiful south coast of New South Wales. Bateman's bay is only 2 and a 1/2 hours from here and is an easy trip. I see that the pic upload thingy in blogger has been changed since I was in here last. I have pics taken over the last few days but am not willing to work out the new system at the moment, so I will just write. I quietly observed birds and animals, sneaking up slowly on them to get pictures.

If I talk to her she asks me to repeat 3 times, then I have to go back to the beginning of each sentence and re explain it all to her over again. What's in my Heart and Head. Monday, 11 June 2012. National Arboretum, Canberra. Yesterday I went out to have a look at the National Arboretum here in Canberra and was very impressed at it's" masterpiece in the making" type of idea. Date, these pics were taken is 10th June 2012. One of the few days that it has been open to the public. Although it will be open each Sunday during Floriade, if you can get to see that and are interested.
