Casa Pax + Kid Pax: We interrupt our previously-scheduled chaos...
http://casapax.blogspot.com/2009/06/we-interrupt-our-previously-scheduled.html
Casa Pax Kid Pax. A random experiment, expermental randomness, or some such thing. Just like everything else. Monday, June 29, 2009. We interrupt our previously-scheduled chaos. And then we came home, and saw the deer as we pulled in to the driveway. Such a different pace of life, and one that's increasingly attractive. We drove by housing developments with prices starting "in the low 100s". Substitute the "1" for a "3" and you'd have Oregon. And maybe for a "high 400s" - and it'd be San Jose.

We had a truly wonderful holiday week with Brother, Nephew, Niece #1 and Niece #2. One of the complexities of living life after losing a loved one is feeling happy AND dealing with grief at the exact same time. Christmas Eve day included the endearing smells and activities of preparing a holiday dinner:. Greenberg Turkey carved and plated by Brother.

Reason 99 why we will live in Mexico! A research and developement project following a middle aged couple's quest to move to Mexico. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. I am fascinated with things that are both lovely and dangerous at the same time. A short list is as follows:. The first time I saw a Datura. It was along side of the road one summer. I first noticed this fast growing vine that sprouted almost overnight. Right in a spot that a Javalina. Had been smashed the spring before. And I got rid of the knife.

Reason 99 why we will live in Mexico! A research and developement project following a middle aged couple's quest to move to Mexico. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. El Camino Real y La Lucuna. Shameless photo of Gordy in the background being cute. He spends most of his leisure time on his back watching me read, cook and Blog. The other book I read was The Lucuna, a Novel by Barbara Kingsolver. Interesting writing style and one of those books that contain fiction and fact. I call them Faction. The above books are...

Life in El Corazon: A New Friend!
http://www.life-in-el-corazon.com/2014/04/a-new-friend.html
Wednesday, April 02, 2014. I was writing a post on Facebook to talk about a moment I had today. I realized I haven't blogged about these sorts of things because they seemed too small to be a post. Then I realized that just because I don't have a lot to say doesn't mean it is not worth sharing. So hopefully this attitude with jumpstart by blogging again. It only takes a moment to make and new friend, and I made one today. Any day that ends with one more friend than it started with, is a good day. Apr 3, 2...

Life in El Corazon: Having An Adventure....
http://www.life-in-el-corazon.com/2014/06/having-adventure_17.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. South of San Miguel, out in the campo, over bridges and through a dark and dusty tunnel is a little village that is well known for a having a very old, very large tree. For some time I have been meaning to visit and take some pictures, yesterday I did just that. Before I tell you about my visit, let me share the picture I finally made. Sabino de la Huerta. Little did I know that in addition to my intended meaning, in Spanish for that word also meant a "romantic affair". Lucky ...

Monday, June 10, 2013. Wanna Live in Michoacán? I have recently helped a friend of mine put together a couple of websites for some properties she has for sale. Her main property is in Patzcuaro. Http:/ www.patzcuaro-real-estate.com. And her beach property on the Michoacán coast. This property sold, so I have removed the link. Life in El Corazon: Cactus in San Miguel De Allende.
http://www.life-in-el-corazon.com/2008/01/cactus-in-san-miguel-de-allende.html
Sunday, January 20, 2008. Cactus in San Miguel De Allende. Cactus (and succulents) are very much a symbol of Mexico. From the Nopal cactus in the Mexican flag to the Agave that provides the tequila for that most ubiquitous of Mexican drinks. Don't get me started on pulque, a fermented rather than distilled product of the agave sap, reputed to be rather slimly in texture. Perhaps one day I will be brave and try it! Well last week we spent a couple of days in San Miguel De Allende. They also have an extens...
