5th MR2: 1989 SC (August 2002):. This MR2 was sold in 2009. Differences between the G-Limited Supercharger and a UK model of the same date include: Electric Retracting Mirrors, Climate Control with Air-Conditioning, Mirrored 'diamond cut' Aluminium Wheels and Mirrored T-Bar Panels. Other differences include revised rear light clusters to accommodate the Japanese ‘square’ registration plate.

This was my 2nd MR2 and my first MR2 Supercharger bought for 6000 in 1997. I had always been after a Supercharger since i found out they existed in Japan, USA and Canada, during an MR2 event i found a company importing JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars into the UK and actually had a supercharger in stock! The very next day i went to have a look and had bought it on the spot! Within a month of buying it, a case of bad driving, bad Japanese tyres and cold damp roads! This MR2 was scrapped in 1997.

This was my 3rd MR2, when bought it was completely standard when purchased in 1997 for 6000. This MR2 was purchased a month after i crashed. My first one, unfortunately it was not in quite such good condition as the first one it provided many years of mostly trouble free motoring. Like the one before, it was a completely standard automatic 1988 SC when purchased. It was however re-sprayed, had the following fitted: TSW Blade alloys, koni adjustable shocks, poly bushings, fensport.

This MR2 was sold in 1997. This was my 1st MR2, when bought it was completely standard when purchased in 1996 for 3500. Purchased as a completely standard car and was in really good condition, it did require a little bit of maintenance on it, the black rubber triangle trim at the end of the sills was rotten so was removed and painted (as you can see in the picture below). I also had to change the shocks.
